Dennis Reinhardt will join the Study Center Gerzensee in January 2009 after having participated in the 2008 “Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students in Economics”. Following a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and in “International Affairs and Governance” he graduated from the University of St. Gallen with a Master’s degree in Economics in 2007. During his studies he worked in the research departments of a German and a British bank. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva and his research interests lie in the field of International Macroeconomics, more specifically in explaining international capital flows and the impact of financial globalization on developing countries.
