Participating in the Central Bankers Course in Inflation Forecasting & Monetary Policy at the Study Center Gerzensee (2022) was a defining experience in my professional development. Attending at the tail end of the global pandemic meant a much smaller cohort, which transformed the programme into an intimate and highly interactive learning environment. The reduced class size made the PhD-level material more approachable, allowed for direct engagement with instructors, and created the space for deeper technical discussion. It was a unique moment in which the intensity of the course met the accessibility of personalised learning — making the advanced content both challenging and truly doable
