We use Matomo (www.matomo.org), an open-source web analytics platform, to analyse how visitors use our website. Matomo processes data such as the pages you visit, the time spent on each page, your browser and device type, and general usage patterns. All data is collected in an anonymised form, ensuring that no personal identification is possible. The data collected with Matomo is stored on our own servers and is used to improve the performance, usability and content of our website.
When you participate in our events, we sometimes use your passport photo on participant lists. These lists are shared only with staff from the Study Center or Hotel Schloss Gerzensee, and occasionally with professors and fellow course participants.
We occasionally take photos during our events. These photos are used to illustrate internal documents such as the annual report and for publication in program brochures, on our website, or on our social media channels (LinkedIn). We adhere to privacy policies when publishing.
If you do not consent to the publication of photos featuring your likeness, please send a separate email to
