Last week, we were delighted to welcome Kathrin Durizzo from the University of Göttingen and GIGA, as well as Samuel Lordemus from the University of Lucerne.

Our guests were working on their research about the dynamic efficiency of public resource allocation following conflict-induced population shocks. Given their international collaboration, the retreat gave them a valuable opportunity to meet in person, exchange ideas, and make real progress on their project.
